What is Carbon Sequestration?
Carbon sequestration is a fancy way of saying "removing carbon from the atmosphere" and then storing it somewhere for long periods of time. Since the industrial revolution, we have been burning fossil fuels and releasing carbon into the atmosphere. This is resulting in global warming which leads to climate change. Malverns grade 11 environmental science class is working together with rod Tennyson on waste offset in the beaches community carbon footprint, who is a graduate from Malvern and is a retired aerospace engineer.
